The story of Tenuta di Castellaro begins in 2005, when the Lentsch family from Bergamo was fascinated by the unique beauty of Lipari, where around 70,000 bottles of wine are produced every year on 24 hectares of land. Unique wines from genuine island grape varieties such as Malvasia delle Lipari and Corinto Nero are bottled here. The whole process is sustainable and follows organic and vegan principles.
The winery is a real highlight: built underground, inspired by the traditional underground dwellings of the islands, and made from locally sourced materials.
