All of our 39 stores across Northern Ireland are open.


We’ve understandably been experiencing very high demand in the last number of weeks so we want to reassure you that we’re on it. We’re confident that we will maintain supply as normal and that all deliveries will go ahead as planned.


We’d also like to thank all of our suppliers and staff for their hard work at such a demanding time. We really appreciate the extra effort.

Food Donation Appeal

There'll be a food donation trolley in the packing areas of our stores until Easter Monday. If you would like to donate a tinned or long-life product to support those in need, simply buy an extra item during your shop and leave it in this trolley and we will distribute it through FareShare to our charity partners.

Community Gift Voucher

Community Gift Vouchers

Lidl are pleased to introduce Community Gift Vouchers for customers who are not able to frequent our stores at present as they are isolating and cocooning at home.

You can now purchase a Lidl Community Gift Voucher, up to the value of £200 in 3 simple steps:

  1. Call our dedicated team on 0800 051 6363. (Lines are open Mon - Fri: 08:00 - 18:00)
  2. Tell us your required voucher value and pay via card over the phone.
  3. We’ll post your gift voucher directly to your door, which you can share with family members, friends or a volunteer who can utilise this voucher to purchase your shopping at any Lidl store. (Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery)

Helping Our Heroes

To support frontline healthcare workers, we will be giving priority to them in all Lidl stores. Healthcare workers will be offered priority queuing at store entrances as well as at the checkouts.


All you have to do to avail is produce valid identification from your workplace.


We thank our customers for their understanding and cooperation at this time.

Your Safety is our number one priority

The safety of our team and customers is our number one priority, that is why we have introduced some of these measures in stores recently: 

  • Plexiglass screens at the till area
  • New signage showing how to social distance from fellow shoppers
  • Mobile hand sanitisers for customer use
  • Increased security presence

We are all in this together. Please show respect for our team and for other customers by maintaining the appropriate social distance in our stores.

Product quantity limitations

We've put product quantity limitations in place on a select few product lines to ensure availability for as many customers as possible, and we would ask that customers respect these measures.

Preventing the spread of COVID-19

In all stores over the coming days you will see a company in spraying all trolleys and baskets with a special bio-misting formula. This will work to remove, kill and create a barrier to prevent the spread of viruses such as COVID-19. They will spray a line of trolleys at a time, followed by batches of baskets, and all items are available to use again immediately after.

The system used is completely safe and there is no impact on the food you choose to put in your trolley or basket. Customer and staff safety is always at the forefront of our minds and we hope you can appreciate we are doing what we can!

  • Contactless Payments

    When possible, please use contactless or card payments.

  • Don't buy more than you need

    Buy only what you need - our stores are being replenished every day.

  • Wash Your Hands

    Wash your hands often and avoid contact with your eyes, nose and mouth.
