Pandoro is a traditional Italian sweet bread. It originated in Veonese during the Middle Ages, however at the time white bread was consumed solely by the rich and sweet breads were reserved for nobility. Now Pandoro can be enjoyed by everyone and is very popular around the world at Christmas.
Serve dusted with icing sugar to make the cake resemble the snowy peaks of the Italian Alps during Christmas.
Want to get onto the nice list for next year? Why not butter Santa up with a large slice of Pandoro? I’m sure he’s sick of cookies by now.
